Golden fields

Sometimes you just feel like jumping in the car and going for a drive. We had a rough idea which direction to go in to find the Canola flowers, thanks to a string of gorgeous photos cropping up (no pun intended) in my Instagram feed. Mitchell likes to program a playlist, and he can drive for hours, finding the same refreshment and peace that I find by the ocean.

It was a lovely, rainy, family day out. Cosy. Lunch was a bbq chook from a country IGA, pulled apart and eaten from the dashboard of the car, whilst watching a couple of wood ducks escort their new arrivals around the park and down to the river. Simple, happy, memory making.

Here are my photographs of the spectacular fields of Canola that we discovered out past York, Western Australia.

I hope you enjoyed looking through those! Whilst I haven’t been blogging much in the past 18 months, I’ve been taking loads of photographs which I hope to share with you over the coming months. If you’re on Instagram, please pop over and follow my new account, Blackcurrantphotography.  I’ve also made a few changes to this website, so stay a while (please) and take a look around.

Thanks for reading!
Kell.
